So, if a First Minister and a Government is not appointed by the end of May, Wales will face another National Assembly Election to attempt to create a better election outcome.
My wish is to see either Ieuan Wyn Jones kick some butt and become the First Minister 'of'Wales (as to 'for' Wales since that is a UK Government trend) or another election called.
Hopefully Mr Jones will be Plaid Cymru's first ever First Minister of Wales. It's time for Plaid Cymru and it is time for change, but with policies coming from smaller minority parties and some disagreements with Labour.
The best thing will be, Wales might have a coalition where now we could have a taster of what the other parties might do if in power in future. As Plaid Cymru will be that leading party, they will make agreements with the other parties to share policies to remain in power. Hopefully whatever happens, either install a First Minister soon, or we will face another election.
