Declare Ieuan Wyn Jones First Minister soon or just get on with that recalled Election!

So, if a First Minister and a Government is not appointed by the end of May, Wales will face another National Assembly Election to attempt to create a better election outcome.

My wish is to see either Ieuan Wyn Jones kick some butt and become the First Minister 'of'Wales (as to 'for' Wales since that is a UK Government trend) or another election called.

Hopefully Mr Jones will be Plaid Cymru's first ever First Minister of Wales. It's time for Plaid Cymru and it is time for change, but with policies coming from smaller minority parties and some disagreements with Labour.

The best thing will be, Wales might have a coalition where now we could have a taster of what the other parties might do if in power in future. As Plaid Cymru will be that leading party, they will make agreements with the other parties to share policies to remain in power. Hopefully whatever happens, either install a First Minister soon, or we will face another election.

Plaid Cymru - I think I will take back my last comments and hope for the best for Plaid Cymru.
Topic: 2007

I have been thinking about the last comments made about the Rainbow Coalition and realised that maybe a Plaid Cymru led Administration might help the people of Wales see a real alternative to Labour.

My main hope that would come out of this would be the full use of the new law making powers but a referendum on the full legislative powers for the Assembly. This is the only way the Assembly can make a REAL different for Wales.

My only concerns was that the Conservatives would hinder Plaid Cymru in this partnership, which would be a shame, but it looks like Plaid Cymru might teach a few lesson's or two to all the other parties in Wales where it comes to Wales going positive.  My friends, "WALES CAN DO IT" and the Welsh people can build a Nation in their own right, a proper Nation with Plaid Cymru at the helm.

I wish success for anything that Plaid Cymru wishes to do in the future, for all our futures. Whatever Plaid Cymru's National Executive decide, I will settle there and listen to them. I hope there will be an Administration by May 30th now, AT LEAST :)

GOOD WORK ALEX SALMOND

Scotland today has a new First Minister, that First Minister is Mr Alex Salmond of the SNP. This means that Scotland finally gets to be governed by the Scottish Nationalist Party.

Shame the Welsh people did not follow Scotlands example and voted for Plaid Cymru to be in Government instead. This over the top Labour voting is insane.

Anyway, The new Scottish First Minister will need some luck, he still has a minority government at the end of the day and can't acheive Independence for Scotland like he could had with a Majority, which the Scots failed to vote for.

In Wales the shame is on those who voted Labour, knowing very well that the Labour Party was going to close Hospitals. Yeah, maybe Mr Morgan should had removed Brian Gibbons as Health Minister to save himself, but good work mr First Minister, yet again you have showed your incompetence.

In Wales though it has cost Labour a Majority. Enough blabbering, must watch the swearing in of the New First Minister of a nation that really does know what it wants.

Keep on eye on the legislative Program of the Welsh First Minister, whenever he is appointed

In this newly elected Third Assembly, the legislature will have the right to decide laws that would be made and scruitinised at the National Assembly. Anybody as Assembly Member can propose an Assembly Measure after gaining legislative competence using an Order-In-Council.

The main speech to listen to will be the First Ministers Legislative program which will highlight the plans of the ruling party. The legislation announced by the Assembly Government would normally be approved by the Secretary of State for Wales before announcement.

Why hasn't our Government of Wales been formed yet?

Why are the Welsh people without a Government? Why isn't there a Government? Why? ok, I will tell you.

In the Second Assembly Labour's policies of hospital closures, like Morriston Neurosergury for example (information from BBC), did not go down too well with the Welsh people. In this election the Welsh people knew about the new Law Making Powers also, which the Welsh people want used wisely.

Labour's crazy ideas for the Welsh NHS is very unpopular and the people of Aberavon for example must had been the craziest voting back Brian Gibbons AM, The Health Minister in the last Government.

If Plaid Cymru was the biggest party, they would strike a deal with any of the other parties in order to create a stable Government. Labour can't do that because the other parties are most probably afraid of a backlash on them for Labours mad ideas.

Maybe the right thing to do, Mr Morgan, if he is First Minister after this election, should not re-appoint Brian Gibbons. This man wants to move this neurosurgery to Cardiff, and leave the people of West Wales to travel to Cardiff with fatal ilnesses. Health Commission Wales should be disbanded and health groups should be created all over Wales assessing the NHS in their localities.

Hospitals closures should never be an option, and it never was for Plaid Cymru!

A Welsh law? People dislike the Westminster Veto? Does this sound like another problem?

Quite a lot of Welsh people dislike the thought of Westminster having the right to veto any chances of the Assembly passiong a law on a matter.

It looks like the Westminster parliament and Mr Hain have the right to reject proposals at anytime whenever a welsh politician at the National Assembly proposes legislative competency. In my opinion, this is the most dumbest idea any human being has come up with.

This could pose a problem also if there are two different parties in power over at Westminster and the Welsh Assembly. I think this annexation of Wales must come to an end, so we can become a proper state, like Scotland and Northern Ireland within the UK. (Personally who needs the UK), then we will have the legal right to have our own laws without UK Parliaments Veto.

Scotland might get independence after a referendum, Wales will have to wait a lot longer.

Proud to say, Scotland's SNP did very well in the Scottish Parliament elections on the 3rd may. My favourite party Plaid Cymru, which I am hoping to be member of soon, shall rule Wales without nosey Labour's interference and eventually transform Wales into a nation that does not scrounge off another.

I may be wrong but I can see Scotland going independent with this new SNP Led Government and I do wish the Scots luck and if independence is a success, and I see no reason why it shouldn't be, Scotland will be that model the Welsh people must find a way to go by.

I am very pleased with the Plaid Cymru wins in this election and there is always four years time to do better again, and might even become the largest party to rule in Wales.

The best thing about the 2007 election is that Rhodri Morgans party will have to rule with a smaller minority compared to the 1999 election. Labour, as always, has let the Welsh people down and people like Brian Gibbons are the VERY ones that let the Welsh people down with his crazy ideas for the Welsh NHS.

Hopefully they don't have crazy idea when they use their law making powers. Wales hasn't had any form of legal system since about 700 years according to some sources. It is time for Wales to break away from England and become an independent country that makes its own decisions.
